Our Story
Two visionaries. One mission.
In the early 2000s, Dr Girish Rao — a leading Faciomaxillary Surgeon — and Dr Ananda Krishna, a rising Prosthodontist, began practising exclusive Implantology together in Bangalore. Having successfully rehabilitated hundreds of patients with dental implants, they recognised an urgent need to train fellow dentists in India.
In 2005, they launched the first Fellowship Program — a 6-month, 4-module course giving one-on-one clinical training in both surgical and prosthetic implantology. The overwhelming response drew over 800 practitioners from India and abroad. ISG Academy is the next chapter: a global platform connecting aspiring implantologists across four continents.
